Asset Integrity... What does it mean?

Asset Integrity is the ability of an asset such as a pressure vessel, pipework, pipeline or structure to perform its required function as designed, effectively and efficiently, for the duration of its design life, while safeguarding the health and safety of people, plant, and the environment.
